Enterprise 6 Suite
Planning your diary, CRM and workflow
Getting ready for your Enterprise 6 installation

There are a few significant things that you should start to plan, so that you can mirror the way your business operates in the diary.

As a general rule it is best keep in the beginning to keep your coding structure reasonably simple, but have one that can be developed later on, if you need it. click here for advice on coding structures.

Action and result codes

These are at the heart of the diary and workflow, though you do not have to use them. Start by defining your main activity types in each area of business operation.

Workflow

Diary Sequences allow you to tell the system to always create new diary entries of a particular type, x no of days before or after, whenever a particular combination of action and result occurs.

Start to sketch out what these should be and discuss your thoughts with our installation team.
